Winter vacations For Government/Private schools further extended
In view of cold waves, the School Education Department Monday further extended winter vacations for summer zones of Jammu division from till January-15.
Notification: In supersession to order No. 719 DSEJ of 2023 dated: 09-01-2023, the winter vacations of Government/Private recognized schools functioning in Summer Zones of Jammu Division are further extended till 15-01-2023 due to prevailing inclement weather conditions.
However, staff and students involved in preparation for Republic day celebrations shall continue the rehearsal as scheduled. Any laxity in this regard from any Govt./Private School shall be viewed seriously and dealt under rules.
