LPG Price Hikes || LPG Gas Cylinders to Get Costlier from Today || Check the New Rates
Oil marketing companies announced an increase in LPG prices. The new rates have come into effect from the first of the month. Under this, OMCs have made commercial LPG cylinders expensive. Also, the prices of jet fuel have also increased.
The oil companies in the country have increased the price of the commercial 19 kg LPG cylinders in India by Rs 62. This increase in the price of this essential commodity takes the price of commercial LPG cylinders in the city of Mumbai to Rs 1,754.50. In the national capital, Delhi, the LPG prices rose to a cumulative of Rs 1,802.
Oil marketing companies have made commercial LPG cylinders expensive for the third consecutive month. On October 1, the price was increased by Rs 48.50. Earlier in August and September, prices were also increased. The increase in jet fuel rates could make air travel costlier for customers, which is in the hands of airline companies.
The prices of commercial LPG cylinders have increased in the country since November 1. Because HPCL, BPCL, and IOCL have increased the price of cylinders by Rs 62 on Friday.
However, there has been no change in the prices of LPG. The new rates of 19 kg cylinders have come into effect from Friday itself. The 19 kg LPG cylinder is the most expensive in the four metro cities in Chennai, while the cheapest is in Mumbai
