Winter Vacations in Kashmir Schools || Big Update
Srinagar, Dec 5: The Minister of School & Higher Education, Health & Medical Education, and Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo, announced that winter vacations in Kashmir schools will be declared shortly.
Addressing reporters, she highlighted the severe cold conditions in the valley, which are causing difficulties for students. With the academic session reverting to November, the minister emphasized the importance of resuming new classes swiftly before the winter break.
Fee Regulation in Private Schools
Itoo assured strict action against private schools violating the government’s fee structure norms. She urged parents to report instances of overcharging, promising decisive measures to address such grievances.
Tributes to Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah
The minister paid homage to JKNC founder Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on his 119th birth anniversary. She praised his significant contributions to Jammu & Kashmir in areas like education, health, and land reforms, describing him as one of the tallest leaders in the Indian subcontinent.
