There’s no stopping Pakistan captain Babar Azam. He is breaking world records for fun this year. In the first ODI against Netherlands on Tuesday, Babar Azam broke South Africa great Hashim Amla’s record for the most runs in ODIs after 88 innings.
Amla, who held the record for a long while, managed to score 4,473 runs after 88 ODIs whereas the current number one batsman has surpassed him after managing 4,516 runs.
It is worth mentioning that no batsman in the world has ever achieved this feat and Babar Azam is the first player to do so.
In the first ODI between Pakistan and the Netherlands, Babar Azam accumulated 74 off 85 balls, with the help of 6 fours and a six.
