The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced recruitment for Anganwadi Workers (Sahiyaiks) through the Office of the Child Development Project Officer, Poshan, Bijbehara. This re-advertisement notice (No. 05 of 2024) dated July 5, 2024, invites applications for positions in various Anganwadi Centres under the Poshan Project Bijbehara. It follows earlier notices dated November 30, 2022, April 28, 2023, and January 21, 2024.

Application Submission:
Form: Candidates must use the prescribed form (Annexure ‘A’) available at the Office of the Child Development Project Officer, Poshan Project Bijbehara.
Submission: Completed applications must be submitted by July 20, 2024, 4:00 PM.
Note: Applicants who have already applied in response to previous advertisements do not need to reapply.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Residence: Candidates must be residents of the respective ward or Panchayat Halqa.
2. Education: Minimum qualification is Matriculation. Preference is given to those with higher qualifications.
3. Age: Candidates must be aged 18-37 years as of January 1, 2024.
4. Marital Status: Only married, unmarried, or divorced women are eligible.
5. Preference: Given to candidates who are orphans, widows, or belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category.
Selection Process:
Committee: A selection committee comprising the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Block Development Officer (BDO), and Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) will shortlist candidates.
Criteria: Shortlisting based on eligibility and other criteria.
Verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification before final selection.

- Original certificates and attested copies (educational qualifications, date of birth, residence proof).
- Passport-sized photographs.
- Other relevant documents as specified in the notification.
