The Government of Jammu and Kashmir issued Government Order, which involves the reassignment of key personnel within the Health and Medical Education Department.
Key Changes
- Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Rather has been transferred from his position as the Director of Health Services, Kashmir to the role of Director Coordination (New Government Medical Colleges) for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, effective immediately.
- In light of this transfer, Dr. Jahangir Bakshi, who is currently the I/C Medical Superintendent at the Super Speciality Hospital in Srinagar, will take over the responsibilities of the Director of Health Services, Kashmir on a temporary basis.
Important Notes
- The arrangements made for both doctors are temporary and are subject to the outcomes of any pending writ petitions in the courts.
- This order does not grant any preferential rights to the officers regarding future regularization, placement, or promotion, which will be conducted strictly according to established rules.
