Fresh Class IV Drivers Recruitment In District and Session Court J&K
The selection process for the newly created posts of Drivers and Orderlies in the Special Courts of District Pulwama is set to commence soon. Here are the key details regarding the application process and eligibility criteria:

Eligibility Criteria:
- Domicile Requirements: Candidates must be domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir as per S.O 166 dated May 18, 2020, and must have resided in District Pulwama for at least 15 years prior to applying.
Educational Qualifications:

- Candidates for both Driver and Orderly positions must have completed Matriculation from a recognized school/board.
- For the Driver position, a valid Driving License with LMV/ HMV endorsement is required.
Age Limit: As of October 1, 2024:

- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 40 years for open merit candidates
- 43 years for SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC candidates
- 48 years for Ex-servicemen
- 40 years for candidates in Government Service/Contractual employees
- Ad-hoc or daily wage workers in subordinate courts are exempt from age limits.
Application Process:
- Application forms can be obtained from the office of the Principal District and Sessions Judge Pulwama or downloaded from the official website (ecourts.gov.in/pulwama).
- Separate applications are required for each post if applying for both.
- Completed applications must be submitted in person to the Principal District and Sessions Judge Pulwama by the deadline.

- Qualification certificate (Matriculation)

- Valid Driving License (for Drivers)

Application Fee:
A fee of Rs. 300/- must be paid via demand draft from any J&K Bank Ltd. in favor of the Principal District and Sessions Judge Pulwama.
Selection Process:
- For Orderlies: Candidates will undergo an interview/viva voce to assess their suitability and knowledge.
- For Drivers: Selection will be based on a written test (80 marks) and a driving skill test (20 marks). Candidates will be called for the driving test based on their written test performance in a ratio of 1:5.
