GMC Handwara Announces Recruitment for Senior Residents, Registrars, and Tutors in 18 Departments

The Office of the Principal, Government Medical College (GMC) Handwara, under the Department of Health and Medical Education, UT of Jammu & Kashmir, has announced recruitment for the posts of Senior Residents, Registrars, Tutors, and Demonstrators in various departments.

The positions will be filled on an academic arrangement basis under S.O. 364 of 2020, initially for one year, extendable up to three years based on work performance and departmental requirements.

  • Application forms are available on the official GMC Handwara website (www.gmchandwara.co.in).
  • Completed applications, along with all required documents and a demand draft of ₹500, must be submitted to the Registrar Academics at GMC Handwara.
  • Last date for submission is 22-12-2024 (up to 3:00 PM).

Eligibility and Documents Required:

  • 1. MBBS Degree and State/NMC Registration Certificate
  • 2. Postgraduate Degree/Diploma (relevant specialization)
  • 3. Marks certificates of MBBS
  • 4. Attempt certificates for MBBS/Postgraduate degrees
  • 5. Age and Date of Birth proof
  • 6. Any other relevant eligibility certificates.
  • Selection Process:
  • The selection will follow the laid-down criteria and guidelines issued by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

General Terms:

  • Applicants must not be on rolls of any other medical college.
  • Candidates already in service must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the relevant authority.
  • Selected candidates must work full-time and cannot engage in private practice.
