Government Orders Transfers, Postings in Jammu and Kashmir

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir issued a transfer and posting order under Government Order No. 1551-JK(GAD) of 2024. This order was made in the interest of administration and includes the following key changes:

1. Mr. Parveez Ahmad Raina has been transferred from his position as Additional District Development Commissioner in Budgam to serve as a Member of the J&K Special Tribunal (Srinagar Bench).
2. Mr. Ashiq Hussain Lily, previously a Member of the J&K Special Tribunal (Srinagar Bench), is now appointed as the Additional District Development Commissioner in Budgam.
3. Mr. Murtaza Ahgfed Sheikh, currently serving as Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Srinagar East, will be transferred to the position of Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Sumbal. He will also hold the additional charge of Sub-Registrar in Sumbal until further notice.
4. Mr. Aamir Choudhary, who is the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Sumbal and has been holding the additional charge of Sub-Registrar, will now take over as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Srinagar (East).

These changes are effective immediately and are part of the ongoing administrative adjustments within the region.
