Government Orders Transfers Postings of JKAS officer

In a recent administrative decision, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir issued an order (No. 1935-JK(GAD) of 2024) dated November 20, 2024, announcing the transfer and posting of Mr. Abdul Rashid Raina, Junior Scale JKAS. Previously awaiting adjustment in the General Administration Department, Mr. Raina has been appointed to the Labour and Employment Department.

He will be tasked with working on the prestigious “Project Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (YUVA),” a government initiative aimed at fostering youth entrepreneurship and development. The transfer is effective immediately.

The order was issued by the General Administration Department, signed by Sanjeev Verma, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, and forwarded to relevant officials, including the Chief Minister’s Office, the Lieutenant Governor’s Office, and other concerned authorities for implementation.

This move highlights the government’s commitment to efficiently utilizing administrative resources to drive youth empowerment initiatives.
