Government Orders Transfers, Postings Of JKAS Officers

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday issued two significant orders regarding transfers and postings of JKAS officers, in the interest of administration with immediate effect:

Government Order No. 1870-JK(GAD) of 2024:

Mr. Sarfaraz, JKAS, who was awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.

Mr. Aziz Ahmad Rather, JKAS, previously serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner in Handwara, is also transferred to serve as Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.

Government Order No. 1871-JK(GAD) of 2024:

Mr. Tabish Saleem, Junior Scale JKAS, currently in the office of the CEO, Mission Youth, has been transferred and appointed as Additional Private Secretary to the Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department.

These changes are made in the interest of administration and are effective immediately.
