The Finance Minister of India Nirmala Sitaraman was announced Anmol Beti Yojana 2024 for the Jammu & Kashmir citizens on 23 July 2024. Under Anmol Beti Yojana the central government will provide financial assistance of Rs 5000 per year for the educational purpose. In the union budget 2024-25, the central government has transferred the Anmol Beti Yojana fund to the UT Ministry of Women & Child Development. The Jammu and Kashmir government has implemented the Anmol Beti scheme in all the districts and will soon start the Anmol Beti Yojana 2024 online and offline registration process.

About Anmol Beti Yojana Jammu Kashmir

The Anmol Beti Yojana Jammu Kashmir was first announced by the Finance Minister of India Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman while representing the budget for Jammu and Kashmir union territory for the financial year 2024-25. The total budget for Jammu and Kashmir UT for the financial year 2024-25 is INR 1.18 lakh crore. The main aim of launching this scheme is to increase the literacy rate among the female citizens of Jammu and Kashmir UT. All the applicants who will get selected under the Anmol Beti Yojana Jammu Kashmir will receive financial assistance of INR 5000.

The main objective of launching the Anmol Beti Yojana JK is to provide financial assistance to students who want to pursue higher education in Jammu and Kashmir UT. With the help of this scheme, the Jammu and Kashmir authorities will empower female citizens significantly by providing financial systems for education. With the help of proper education female citizens can achieve their dreams and build their careers. The financial assistance of INR 5000 will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account.
