J&K Government Announces Appointment Orders For Various Posts
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir’s Higher Education Department has issued orders for the appointment of various Assistant Professors as recommended by the J&K Public Service Commission. The selected candidates will be appointed on a regular temporary basis in the Academic Level-10 pay scale of ₹57,700/- (pre-revised pay band of ₹15,600–39,100 with AGP ₹6,000).

Candidates from the Kashmir Division must report to the Nodal Principal, Government College of Education, Srinagar, while candidates from the Jammu Division should report to the Nodal Principal, Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. This must be done within 21 days from the date of this order to confirm their appointments.
Failure to comply will result in cancellation of the appointment without notice.
