J&K Government Announces Transfers and Postings of IAS, JKAS Officers

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has recently undertaken significant administrative reshuffles, orders the transfer and posting of IAS and JKAS officers. This move is part of an ongoing effort to streamline the bureaucracy within the region.

1. Nidhi Malik, IAS (AGMUT:2013), has been transferred to serve as Deputy Commissioner, Reasi.

2. Rupesh Kumar, IAS (AGMUT:2019), has been assigned as Director, Social Welfare, Jammu, filling an available vacancy.

3. Shahzad Alam, IAS (AGMUT:2019), has been posted as Director, Employment, J&K, replacing Nisar Ahmed Wani, JKAS. Additionally, Shahzad Alam will hold charge as Chief Executive Officer of Mission Youth and Mission Director of Mission YUVA, alongside his current responsibilities, until further orders.

4. Vishesh Paul Mahajan, JKAS, previously Deputy Commissioner of Reasi, has been transferred as Director, Tourism, Jammu, filling an available vacancy.

These transfers are aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the administrative framework in Jammu and Kashmir, reflecting the government’s commitment to improving governance and public service delivery in the region.
