J&K Government Forms Committee for Implementation of Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme (RAS)-2022
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has constituted a committee under the Jammu & Kashmir Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme (RAS) 2022. This decision is in line with Clause 12(V) of the scheme, which was notified through S.O. 397 dated August 16, 2024. The committee’s primary role is to assess and consider applications for compassionate appointments and monetary compensation related to the General Administration Department, as well as cases referred from other departments under the same scheme.
Composition of the Committee
The committee will consist of the following officers:
- Special Secretary/Additional Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department (Dealing with Jammu & Kashmir Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme).
- Deputy Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department (Dealing with Jammu & Kashmir Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme).
- Under Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department (Dealing with Jammu & Kashmir Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme).
- A Representative of the Finance Section, General Administration Department, nominated by the Director Finance.
The committee will be chaired by a Nodal Officer from the General Administration Department.
