J&K Government Reconstitutes Search Committee for JKBOSE Chairperson and JKSCERT Director

The Government of Jammu & Kashmir has reconstituted the Search Committee tasked with recommending panels for the appointment of Chairperson, JKBOSE and Director, JKSCERT, under Government Order No.: 2081-JK(GAD) of 2024, dated 13.12.2024.

Committee Members

• Administrative Secretary, Agriculture Production Department (Chairman)
• Administrative Secretary, School Education Department (Member)
• Administrative Secretary, General Administration Department (Member)
• Administrative Secretary, Higher Education Department (Member)
• Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu (Member)
• Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir (Member)

The School Education Department will service the committee.

Government Orders

The reconstitution supersedes the previous order issued in February 2023. The Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Sanjeev Verma (IAS), issued the directive.

The notification has been forwarded to key officials, including additional secretaries, principal secretaries, and registrars of Kashmir and Jammu Universities. The committee aims to ensure a transparent and efficient selection process for the key education sector roles.
