J&K Govt Constitutes Committees to Verify Complaints Against Private Schools
The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has constituted a committee to verify the complaints against private schools in the Jammu division. The meeting was held on 12-07-2024 under the chairmanship of the Advisor to Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, wherein it was directed that CEOs, ZEOs and HOls shall conduct quality inspections of the Govt. Schools falling under their jurisdiction. Accordingly, following instructions were issued for strict compliance:
Inspection Instructions
- Chief Education Officers (CEOs) are directed to conduct inspections of schools under their jurisdiction at least twice a week.
- Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) are instructed to conduct inspections at least thrice a week.
- Principals/Cluster Heads are required to conduct inspections or interactions with the Head of Institutions of 2-3 schools falling within their clusters once a week.
- The designated committees constituted are to conduct inspections of private schools affiliated with JKBOSE & CBSE School.
The reports/findings of the inspections are to be furnished to the Directorate on a fortnightly basis for onward submission to the Administrative Department.These instructions aim to ensure the quality and compliance of private schools in Jammu Division.
