Jammu and Kashmir Government Issues Transfer and Posting Orders
Dated: January 29, 2025: The General Administration Department of Jammu and Kashmir has issued Government Order No. 152-JK(GAD) of 2025, detailing administrative reshuffles in various departments.
- Shri Shantmanu, IAS (AGMUT:1991), currently serving as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) of the Higher Education Department, will now also hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, School Education Department. This move relieves Shri Suresh Kumar Gupta, IFS (AGMUT:1991) of his additional charge.
- Shri Saurabh Bhagat, IAS (AGMUT:2002), Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Science and Technology Department, has been assigned additional responsibility as the Administrative Secretary, Information Technology Department. This appointment relieves Shri Shantmanu, IAS of his additional duties.
- Shri K. Ramesh Kumar, IFS (AGMUT:2000), previously CCF Settlement & Demarcation, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Culture Department. This reassignment relieves Shri Suresh Kumar Gupta, IFS (AGMUT:1991) from his charge.
The order has been issued with the approval of the Lieutenant Governor, with Commissioner/Secretary to the Government M. Raju, IAS, overseeing its implementation.
