The Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters has issued an official order regarding the placement of newly promoted Superintendents of Police (SPs). As per the order, these officers, promoted under Home Department Order No. 548-Home of 2024 dated December 3, 2024, are directed to report to their respective Zonal or Wing heads.

- Syed Javeed Ahmad, SP – ZPHQ Kashmir
- Rameez Rashid Bhat, SP – ZPHQ Kashmir
- Rameez Raja, SP – ZPHQ Kashmir
- Nikhil Rasgotra, SP – CID HQ
- Devinder Singh Bandral, SP – ZPHQ Jammu
Until their formal adjustments are finalized, their salaries will be drawn from the existing five DSP vacancies in the overall reserve.
This step aims to streamline the transition of these officers into their new roles while ensuring administrative efficiency.
