The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a notification regarding the Final Selection List-cum-Allocation of Cadres & Departments for remaining Class-IV posts. This pertains to the Jammu & Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020, which were advertised under Notification No. 01 of 2020 dated June 26, 2020.

Key Points of the Notification
- Withheld Recommendations: The selection list included recommendations for candidates under the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) category, which were initially withheld pending clarification. Despite multiple notices, many candidates did not provide the required documentation to support their claims.
- Legal Proceedings: Some candidates challenged the withholding of their recommendations in the Hon’ble CAT, Srinagar Bench. The court directed the JKSSB to consider their claims similarly to other candidates who had been allowed to join.
- Final Opportunity: The JKSSB provided a final notice to 33 ESM candidates to submit necessary documents. Out of these, 17 candidates complied, while 16 candidates did not respond despite several opportunities.
- Cancellation of Recommendations: The Board decided to cancel the withheld recommendations for the 16 candidates who failed to provide the required documentation, as detailed in Annexure A of the notification.
