JKSSB Releases Instructions for Submission of Application Forms for 669 Sub-Inspector Posts in J&K Police
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 669 Sub-Inspector posts in the J&K Police, Home Department. Below are the important details and instructions for applicants:
Application Submission Dates
- Start Date: December 3, 2024 (12:00 AM)
- End Date: January 2, 2025 (11:59 PM)
- Fee Payment Deadline: Same as above.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must possess a valid Domicile Certificate of Jammu and Kashmir.
- Other Qualifications as specified in the detailed notification.
How to Apply
- Online Mode Only: Applications must be submitted via the JKSSB official website: www.jkssb.nic.in. No other modes of application will be accepted.
- Registration:
- Candidates must register by clicking on the “Log-in (Apply on Various Posts)” tab.
- A valid email ID and mobile number are required for registration.
- OTP-based verification will be used for account activation.
- One-Time Registration (OTR):
- After creating login credentials, candidates must complete the OTR form.
- Post-OTR, click on the “Active Advertisement” tab and then “Apply” for the desired post.
- Uploading Documents:
- Photograph: Recent passport-size photo with a white background (Size: 20 KB to 50 KB, Dimensions: 4.5 x 3.5 cm).
- Signature: Clear signature (Size: 10 KB to 20 KB, Dimensions: 1.5 x 3.5 cm).
- Category Certificate (if applicable): Valid certificate in PDF format (Max size: 100 KB).
- Fee Payment:
- Payment can be made via Net Banking, Debit Card, UPI, or Credit Card.
- Ensure the fee status is marked as “Submitted” on the dashboard after payment.
Important Instructions
- Accuracy of Information:
- Ensure all details are correct before final submission. Once submitted, the application cannot be edited.
- Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
- No Hard Copies:
- Hard copies of the application form are not required, except during the Document Verification (DV) stage for shortlisted candidates.
