MeT predicts heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir
The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, predicting rain and thundershowers over the coming days:

August 3rd to 5th: Brief spells of rain and thundershowers during the day, with light to moderate rain at night and early morning.
August 6th to 8th: Scattered rain and thundershowers in the Kashmir Division and numerous locations in the Jammu Division.
August 9th to 11th: Isolated rain and thundershowers in Kashmir Division and widespread rain in Jammu Division.

The Centre has also warned of potential flash floods, cloudbursts, landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones due to intense showers. Heavy rainfall is also expected at some locations during the next three days. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and monitor weather updates.
