The Office of the Head Division of Aquatic Animal Health Management at the Faculty of Fisheries, SKUAST-K is inviting applications for a temporary position under the Wular Conservation and Management Authority (WUCMA). This position is part of a research project titled “Disease spectrum in fishes of Wular lake: An integrated approach for profiling of fish pathogenic strains.”

Position Information
- Position Title: Project Assistant
- Number of Positions: One (01)
- Tenure: 6 months (extendable based on performance)
Eligibility Criteria:

- Essential: Graduate in Science with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
- Desirable: B.F.Sc. and M.F.Sc. in Aquatic Animal Health Management. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in fish disease management.
Emoluments: Rs. 25,000 (Consolidated per month)
Terms & Conditions
- The position is purely contractual for an initial period of 6 months, extendable based on satisfactory performance.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- The selected candidate will not have a claim for regular appointment in the university.
