Qualifications

• Essential:
  • Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Agriculture, or Horticulture with specialization in Plant Pathology or Biotechnology.
• Desirable:
  • Experience in surveying viral diseases and related fields.

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Essential Qualifications: 50 marks
• Doctor of Philosophy: 5 marks
• Research Experience: 1 mark for each year (up to 5 marks)
• Research Publications: 10 marks
• Awards: 1 mark for each award (up to 5 marks)
• NET Qualification: 5 marks
• Personal Interview: 20 marks

Additional Information

• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 to 45 years as of October 31, 2024. Age relaxation will be provided as per the rules of the Government of India/ICAR.
• Leave Policy: YP-II is entitled to Casual Leave (CL) and Restricted Holidays (RH) as per the rules.
