The ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture (CITH) is inviting eligible candidates for a Walk-In Interview scheduled for October 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM. This opportunity is for temporary positions under the project focused on Hazard Analysis in Pome Fruits as part of the Clean Plant Programme.
Position Details

Qualifications
- Essential:
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Agriculture, or Horticulture with specialization in Plant Pathology or Biotechnology.
- Desirable:
- Experience in surveying viral diseases and related fields.
Selection Criteria
Candidates will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Essential Qualifications: 50 marks
- Doctor of Philosophy: 5 marks
- Research Experience: 1 mark for each year (up to 5 marks)
- Research Publications: 10 marks
- Awards: 1 mark for each award (up to 5 marks)
- NET Qualification: 5 marks
- Personal Interview: 20 marks
Additional Information
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 to 45 years as of October 31, 2024. Age relaxation will be provided as per the rules of the Government of India/ICAR.
- Leave Policy: YP-II is entitled to Casual Leave (CL) and Restricted Holidays (RH) as per the rules.
