Walk-In-Interview for Project Staff under PURSE Grant at Central University of Jammu
The Central University of Jammu has invited applications for the position of Project Associate-I (PA-I) under the Promotion of University Research and Scientific Excellence (PURSE) grant. This opportunity is sponsored by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi, for a project titled:
“Drone technology-based real-time air pollution online monitoring at dumping sites in the Jammu Region – adsorption & sensors application using innovative biomaterials.”

- Position: Project Associate-I (PA-I)

- Tenure: One year (initially), extendable based on project needs and performance.
Eligibility Criteria:
Essential Qualifications: UG/PG degree in Electronic Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related subjects from a recognized university with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates with expertise in Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence, or Drone Technology are preferred.
Desirable Qualifications: Preference for candidates with valid NET/GATE/JRF (e.g., CSIR/UGC/ICMR).
Monthly Fellowship:
- With NET/GATE qualification: ₹31,000 + 8% HRA
- Without qualification: ₹25,000 + 8% HRA
