The weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir from August 21 to August 31, 2024, is as follows:
- August 21: Generally cloudy with light to moderate rain/thundershowers expected at many places.
- August 22-25: No significant weather expected for the Kashmir Division, but brief spells of rain/thundershowers may occur at a few places. In the Jammu Division, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are expected at scattered places, particularly towards late night or early morning.
- August 26-27: There is a possibility of light to moderate rain/thundershowers at scattered to fairly widespread places across Jammu and Kashmir.
- August 28-31: Brief spells of rain/thundershowers are expected at isolated places.
Advisory: There is a possibility of intense showers for brief periods at a few places, which may lead to flash floods, landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones in vulnerable areas. Additionally, a rise in day temperatures is expected from August 23 onwards.
