7th Pay Commission: Good news for 52 lakh government employees! Update on fitment factor

7th Pay Commission Fitment Factor update: There is good news for government employees. The government will take a decision on the fitment factor this month. Due to This the minimum basic salary of the employees will increase . A draft will be prepared for this, which will be discussed with the central government.

According to Zee Business, after submitting this prepared draft, a meeting will be held on this issue by the end of this month. If this is agreed, then the basic salary of more than 52 lakh central employees can be increased under the fitment factor.

7th Pay Commission: Bumper salary of employees will increase

If the government announces an increase in central employees’ fitment factor, their pay will rise significantly. Employees are currently paid based on a 2.57 percent fitment factor, which would be hiked to 3.68 percent, increasing to Rs 8,000 in the minimum pay. This means that the central government’s minimum pay will rise from Rs 18,000 to Rs 26,000 per month. The current minimum basic pay is Rs 18,000, however, it must be hiked to Rs 26000 shortly.

7th Pay Commission: How Much Will Your Salary Increase?

Employees’ basic pay will be Rs 26,000 if the fitment ratio is adjusted to 3.68 percent. According to the 2.57 fitment factor, if your minimum salary is Rs 18,000, you will receive Rs 46,260 (Rs 18,000 X 2.57 = 46,260) without allowances. Your salary will be Rs 95,680 (26000 X 3.68 = 95,680) if the fitment factor is 3.68.
