The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an official order regarding the promotion of officers to the Selection Grade of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS). The promotion has been granted following the Council of Ministers’ decision (No. 024/03/2025) dated February 24, 2025.
According to government Order, the following officers have been promoted to Selection Grade (Level 12: 78,800-2,09,200) with effect from January 20, 2025:
- Shavi
- Sanchi Misra
- Mantasha Binti Rashid
- Shafiq Ahmad
- Javeed Naseem Masoodi
The promotion is subject to the outcome of any pending writ petitions before competent courts of law.
This decision marks a significant career progression for the promoted officers, reflecting their contributions to public administration in Jammu and Kashmir.
