Applications through online filling of Google form (https://forms.gle/4aQTNtpicUQT12xV7) are invited from the eligible and motivated candidates having passion for doing research for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a period of one year initially extendable by another two years depending upon performance of the JRF and subject to the release of the funds to work in the project “Investigating climatic and anthropogenic impact on the groundwater quality of shallow aquifers along the flood plains of River Jhelum, Kashmir Himalaya” sanctioned by Science and Engineering Research Board, (SERB), DST in favour of Dr. Aasimah Tanveer (Principal Investigator) Assistant Professor, Department of Water Management, Govt. Degree College, Baramulla and Dr. Arshid Jehangir, and Dr. Mohd. Muslim, Department of Environmental Science, University of Kashmir as Co-principal Investigators of the project.
The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

NOTE:

- Interview will preferably be held offline and under certain circumstances online interview can be held at the request of the candidate/s providing reasonable justification for the same.
- The selected candidate has to work in both GDC Baramulla as well in University of Kashmir during the project tenure.
