In Heartwarming Clip, A Sikh Holds Umbrella as Muslim Man Offering Namaaz Amid Hailstorm — WATCH

In a viral video purportedly from Jammu and Kashmir, a Sikh man was seen shielding a Muslim resident under an umbrella amid a hailstorm as he knelt in prayer in the middle of a street. In the clip that has since been shared widely across social media platforms, the Sikh man could be seen standing patiently, holding the umbrella for his Muslim brother as long as the latter offers his Namaaz in the face of hostile weather.

Netizens have applauded the Sikh man for his deed of kindness which shows communal harmony, and the gesture has won hearts.

The Sikh man can be heard saying, “Nikal, mein jaatha hoon (I will go)” before he leaves the vehicle, unfolds his umbrella, and stands near to the Muslim who is in prayer, providing cover from the hailstorm. He continues until the prayer is over.
