Filling up of MBBS/BDS Management Seats of Hindu Minority (HM) and Non Resident Indians (NRI) Quota of ASCOMS and IDS
It is notified for information of eligible candidates of NEET UG-2022 whose names have figured in Provisional Merit List (PML) issued by the Board vide Notification No. 074-BOPEE of 2022 dated 11-04-2022 and who are interested for admission in MBBS/BDS courses in ASCOMS –Jammu under Hindu Minority and NRI quota and in Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS), Jammu under NRI Quota have to deposit their relevant documents on the prescribed proforma at BOPEE office Srinagar/Jammu w.e.f 18th November, 2022 to 22nd November, 2022 (till 03:00 P.M). The details of above referred seats are given herein below:
A. The number seats for MBBS course as available in ASCOMS-Jammu under Hindu Minority/ NRI Quota:-
1. Hindu Minority Quota Seats = 25
2. NRI Seats = 10
B. The number of seats for BDS course as available in IDS Jammu:-NRI Seats = 10
C. The NRI / Hindu Minority Quota seats for MBBS in ASCOMS and NRI seats for BDS in IDS Jammu shall be filled up through a process of physical counselling, the schedule of which shall be notified separately by the Board.
Important Note:
i. The last date of submission of documents under NRI/Hindu Minority Quota physically at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar is: 22-11-2022 (till 03:00 P.M).

Eligibility of NRI Seats:-
Category No. 1:- Whereas an applicant himself /herself is NRI and family originally belongs to UT of J&K.
Category No. 2:- Children/wards of NRI, who originally belongs to UT of J&K.
Further, the documents required for NRI Category 1 and 2 are as under:-
Category No. 1:
(i) NEET UG-2022 Score Card;
(ii) NRI certificate issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India or Indian Embassy Overseas under Ministry of External Affairs with holding of Indian Passport;
(iii) Copy of NRI Bank Account preferably in the country where the candidate is residing or of NRI Account in India;
(iv) Copy of Indian Passport;
(v) Copy of Income Tax Return filed in India, if any;
(vi) PAN Card, if any; and
(vii) Domicile Certificate of the candidate belonging to UT of J&K.
(viii) Any other document as may be required by the Board for its satisfaction.
Category No. 2:
(i) NEET UG-2022 Score Card;
(ii) NRI Sponsorship Letter;
(iii) Undertaking of NRI duly attested by the legal authority of that country where sponsor is residing or Indian Embassy Overseas;
(iv) Bank Statement of the Sponsor;
(v) Resident/National Certificate or NRI certificate of the sponsor;
(vi) Pedigree Table/Family Tree establishing relationship of the candidate with the sponsor along with documentary Proof;
(vii) Employment certificate of the sponsor;
(viii) PAN Card of the sponsor;
(ix) PAN Card of the candidate/parents;
(x) Copy of Income Tax Return filed, if any;
(xi) Domicile certificate of the candidate belonging to UT of J&K.
The prescribed Proforma as Annexure “A”and “B” to this Notification is available only on BOPEE website www.jkbopee.gov.in.
Note:-
1. The seats shall be filled up purely on the basis of eligibility and merit of the candidates secured in the NEET-UG 2022.
2. Only such candidates shall be eligible, who have registered themselves online and figured in the UT Provisional Merit List as notified by the Board vide Notification No. 072 BOPEE of 2022 dated 26-10-2022
3. The candidate applying under Hindu Minority Quota shall be required to produce a certificate from the competent authority that he/she belongs to the Hindu Minority (HM) Community.
4. Only Domiciles of UT of J&K are eligible to compete against the above seats of HM and NRI.
