JKSSB: Final Selection List for the Posts of Accounts Assistant In Finance Department

Consequent upon the receipt of requisition from the Finance Department, vide Indent No. FD/Coord/08/2020 dated 19.11.2020, the Jammu and Kashmir Services: Selection Board (JKSSB), among other posts, advertised 972 posts of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department, UT Cadre, vide Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020, under Item No. 106, as per the following category-wise break up:

    • ST: 97
    • OSC: 39
    • ALC/IB: 39
    • RBA: 97
    • PSP: 39
    • EWS: 97

Total: 972

The JKSSB conducted the OMR based Written Examination for these posts of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department on 28.01.2024 and vide Notification No. JKSSB-COE0Exam/(UT)/105/2023-04(7372799) dated 09.02.2024, the Result/Score- sheet of candidates was notified. This was followed by the Document Verification of the candidates falling under consideration zone, which concluded with Supplementary Document Verification.

Thereafter, the Selection Committee, constituted vide Office Order No. 69- SSB of 2024 dated 14.02.2024, prepared the Provisional Selection List which was notified vide No. JKSSB-Scry/5/2024-03(7415959) dated 26.02.2024. The Board, in its 263rd meeting held on 05.03.2024, approved the Final Selection List for the aforementioned posts, which was notified vide No. 15-Selection of 2024 dated 07th of March, 2024, under endorsement No. JKSSB-Scry/5/2024-03(7415959).

Accordingly, the undersigned is directed to forward herewith the Final Selection List of candidates for the posts of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department, UT Cadre, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020, under Item No. 106, as per Annexure-A to this communication.

The above Selection List shall be subject to the outcome of writ petition(s)/OA(s), if any, pending disposal before any competent Court of jurisdiction. The Selection List shall also be subject to the outcome of any inquiry, involving candidate(s) figuring in this Selection List.

The document verification/scrutiny conducted by the Board is limited to the extent of establishing physical possession of Category/Degree certificates and ascertaining genuineness/validity or otherwise of the same and recognition status of the Institution, shall be the responsibility of the Indenting Department/Appointing authority.

The Selection of the candidates has been made on the basis of Self- declaration/Certificates submitted by them and if at any stage, it comes to the light that any candidate(s) has submitted false information or has secured selection on the basis of fake documents/certificates, the selection shall be liable to cancellation at any stage and appropriate criminal proceedings against such candidate/s may kindly be initiated.

Moreover, in terms of Government Order No.1003-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 27.09.2021, the candidates, whose recommendations are released by the Selection. Agency, shall submit their Personal Verification Roll (PVR) before the appointing authority within a period of 21 days from its release, failing which the candidate(s) shall forego their right to appointment forthwith. The Selection List is also available on the website of J&K Services Selection Board www.jkssb.nic.in and may be cross verified from it, if required.
