Summer Vacation 2024 For Colleges In Kashmir | Latest Update
The government is expected to announce summer vacations for colleges in the Kashmir Valley starting from July 15th.
A senior official confirmed that the vacations are scheduled as per the official academic calendar.
A formal order is expected to be issued anytime soon, according to Principal Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, Alok Kumar.
“We are planning to announce summer vacation for colleges from July 15th,” Kumar told Daily Spark News.
“The order regarding this will be issued shortly,” Kumar added.
The announcement comes after the government declared vacations for schools across Kashmir from July 8th amid a continuing heatwave.
The move is aimed at providing relief to students from the scorching heat and allowing them to rejuvenate during the summer break.
The official order is eagerly awaited by students and faculty members, who are looking forward to a well-deserved break
